Join us for a practical, hands-on workshop led by master sharpener, Ayanori Suzuki at our Poblenou workshop.
During this 2-hour workshop participants will learn traditional Japanese sharpening techniques and how to transform any dull knife into a perfect cutting tool. From rough grinding and thinning to sharpening and polishing, upon completion of the workshop, participants will leave with their own knives in new, pristine condition and with the knowledge of how to care for their knives at home.
Participants are asked to bring their own knives, one 18 to 24cm chef's knife and one 8-12cm paring knife (both flat/straight edged). participants will receive a 15% discount on the stones they use in class, depending on availability.
Ayanori Suzuki is a veteran Japanese professional sharpener who has been working in Sweden for the past 8 years, teaching his craft and sharpening for top restaurants, accomplished chefs and savvy home cooks in his own Stockholm knife shop.
